New board member elected at our general membership meeting May 17, 2026
Hello All I am Tammy Warren- the newest member of the board of CACC! I have been involved in organizing in many different arenas: animal rights, environmental, queer issues and self care and wellness, but the WATER is my passion! #waterislife
I met John, Marcia, Tony and Suzie at a Climate day event a few years back, and friends we became. Fast forward to 2025, Tony asked us to help with his shift in the CACC kitchen at Wheatland on Saturday night, we said yes- and somehow that ended up with me having the amazing opportunity to be the early morning barista 
in the CACCafe for the whole festival. I fell in love with the people, the mission and the passion for our Mother Earth. 
I had so much fun meeting some of you, and I hope to meet many more of you this year!!

When I am not fighting for the water, I love to hop in our 
– Jan- She has been with my wife Sheila Marrs and I for over 2 years, and I love them both so! Exploring all of the beauty that our great state fills my cup more than I ever imagined! Even thinking about some of my favorite places brings tears to my eyes- I am just in awe of the majesty of my home state and all of her Great Lakes! Between Sheila and I we have 4 adult humans and 4 grand littles & they are my why I do what I do! I thank you all for all of the work you have done with CACC since the 70’s and I look forward to working with you to protect our environment because the Future of the Earth is in our Hands!
